As the spring approaches, I find we seem to start to put things aside. But there are celebratory picnics. Final reports may have to be written. We recognize the pressure we feel, sometimes from unfinished projects, sometimes because summer breaks are a myth, or sometimes because the pressure really just never goes away. You almost feel you are too busy to attend this workshop but you know you need it. Right?
That is why I have designed a short workshop to guide you to a place of calmness when the pressure is particularly great.
Keeping Calm Under Pressure (Cost $30)
Date: Possibly the morning of June 13th, the day after the election. However I can change that date if I hear soon that it is better on another day.
Location: depends on numbers. likely in or near Owen Sound. I first need to hear what people who are interested in this workshop prefer in terms of timing.
We function at our best when we are calm, caring and confident . This half day workshop will help you
- learn some calming techniques
- be able to respond constructively in challenging situations.
- learn some helpful aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- learn tips to find your calmness and your wise self.
This workshop will include some actual calming and centering activities.
